Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker?

The Fall
They say the bigger you are the harder you fall
and for those deemed desolate was created the law.
But would there be justice without the ego's flaw?
Separation of self from the rest of it all.
Artificially originated
superficially celebrated
ignorant is he who makes it,
lacking knowledge of how we're created.
Hard-wired for survival
we construct a perceived rival
just another to deem liable,
common threat to a singular title.
Oh pride! How hast thou forsaken us?
Instead of humility, hubris is a must.
Searching for love through the eyes of lust,
Craving the filling, yet receiving the crust

The fall
…Then the weeds also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ He said to them ‘an enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the weeds you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Trees in the Valley
Where can we escape from the lions appetite?
What can quench the felines curiosity?
Who can destroy me but me?
Lost in a deciduous forest,
I use the trees canopy
To protect against the sun's rays.
Remnants,
Moments of son shine is all I need.
A fall night,
Lost.
But winter dawns on the 23rd,
And the Light calls out to me,
Seeks me and lifts me up.
She is my staff,
She is my comforter.
When she leaves
I yearn,
Longing to return,
But this valley's got a hold of me,
So these trees are what I climb.
What can quench the felines curiosity?
Who can destroy me but me?
Lost in a deciduous forest,
I use the trees canopy
To protect against the sun's rays.
Remnants,
Moments of son shine is all I need.

She is my comforter.
When she leaves
I yearn,
Longing to return,
But this valley's got a hold of me,
So these trees are what I climb.
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me; my spirit drinks in their poison; the terrors of God are arrayed against me

A King's Plea
Her beauty is intoxicating
glistening from the bath-she-bathes in,
and my eyes have been led to this very moment.
He appointed me King,
the conditions clearly state entitlements,
and who can deny what's conclusive?
For my case has been judged.
I have stood before the giant
and conquered the shadow of death.
As I rationalize the laws
this is what peasantry must feel like,
but in all my ways I have done it for the glory so
who can be against me?
I have heeded the ways of my ancestors,
laid down my life for the sheep,
and sat at the table with thine enemies.
Who am I but the popularly demanded?
The spoils of royalty run deep,
through war as also peace,
in death as in life.
glistening from the bath-she-bathes in,
and my eyes have been led to this very moment.
He appointed me King,

And he walked in the sins of his father, which he had done before him; his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David.

American Idols
Superstars
and top models pose,
then act it out on the screen.
American Idols
are born every day.
Gladiators and giants
in bloodthirsty arenas.
Pigeons migrate
for the flesh's sake
Just to take a taste
of your name.
A pirates booty,
the freshest
spoils of war,
so who are you;
I
or they to blame?
Father forgive us American idolators.
For we know not what we do.
Our shepherds have gone astray;
The sheep have gone astray.
Into the pits of sheol
we plunge.
Building castles
and fighting to write
our name in the sand.
Death as a result
of musical chairs.
"Jesus wept"
not for Nazerus,
for His purpose was clear.
He knew that He came
bearing the resurrection.
He weeps
because His family
still fails to believe
in His words.
For He is "the resurrection
and the life" yet,
we idolize
with lack of shame.

The kings heart is in the hands of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes
-Proverbs 20:1
Queen of Hearts
Oh wretched man that I am,
who can savest thou from thyself?
Under the pressure of the ticker,
misplaying the hand that was dealt.
love almost killed me.
High stakes, royal pocket,
king of hearts, queen of spades.
On the turn queen of clubs,
I'm all in dealer I raise.
love almost killed me!
I lay it down 2 of a kind,
yet she reveals 2 pair.
My confidence eye of the tiger
until I enter the dragon's lair.
love almost killed me!!
My queens suited so dangerously
armed with club and spade,
but the Jacks and Aces she possessed,
an entire hidden brigade.
love almost killed me!!!
Oh God, how hast thou forsaken me?
This I cried with dismay..
But then came the river,
just as calm as Her way.
love almost killed me.. but Love saved my life
"Stop throwing stones" She whispered,
"And watch the turbulence switch to calm.
For the streams of my people,
Reflect that of the 23rd psalm."
Love saved my life.
In that river the Queen of hearts,
the answer to my hymn.
For when the world seized me, I doubted,
still He gazed and said "I want him".
Love saved my life!
Oh wretched man that I am,
I could not saveth thou from I.
For who can tame the lion,
except He who guides the heart's eye?
Love saved my life!!
Three of a kind trumps pairs,
oh how Glorious is the trinity.
For love is in the eye of the beholder,
while Love extends beyond infinity.
Love saved my life!!!
who can savest thou from thyself?
Under the pressure of the ticker,
misplaying the hand that was dealt.
